SUMMARY

Under the Business Development and Marketing Director, the sales consultant will provide quality client service, promote Zú’s various products and services using a client-focused approach, generate as many clients as possible and help retain existing clients by ensuring their satisfaction.

As a sales consultant, you will be the first contact clients have with Zú. Specifically, you will rent out space to corporate clients (large companies, SMEs and startups) for temporary or permanent coworking areas, business meetings, corporate events, the TELUS Lab 5G and participation in Zú’s programming.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Establish a strong and lasting relationship with clients;  
• Process business opportunities and maximize conversion rates;
• Be knowledgeable about every aspect of Zú’s services and communicate them in terms of the client’s needs;
• Support each client in choosing a complete sales solution and summarize client needs with questions and answers;
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of available spaces and services at all times;
• Respond to client requests within 24 hours;
• Achieve a level of productivity and sales in line with weekly, monthly, mid-year and annual objectives;
• Train customer service agents to adequately answer clients’ questions about our services and to identify and communicate opportunities;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services as well as of our marketing and sales tools by sharing challenges of the field and an analysis of client needs with the marketing team;
• Participate in marketing initiatives (e.g. external events, presentation of Zú’s services at events).

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:  

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English;
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications or any other relevant field;
• 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales or B2C services (insurance, banking, telecommunications);
• Knowledge of the local market.

START DATE AND DURATION:

October or November 2019 – Permanent, full-time position
