On Friday January 24, and Association québécoise de l’industrie du disque, du spectacle et de la vidéo (ADISQ)  organized an exclusive networking breakfast, supported by the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications. Held in the heart of Zú’s creative ecosystem, the event fostered promising exchanges between participants from both organizations.

A bridge between technology and music

The music sector, which is undergoing a major transformation, benefits greatly from the opportunities offered by new technologies. This activity enabled ADISQ members to discover innovative startups offering technological solutions capable of revolutionizing their processes, enriching their offerings or transforming the customer experience.

For the startups incubated at Zú, the event was a unique opportunity to showcase their expertise to influential music industry professionals and make strategic connections.

Inspiring presentations

The highlight of the morning was the pitches given by Zú’s five entrepreneurs, each of whom presented their company. Here’s an overview of the startups that presented:

  • Heylist: Heylist is a platform facilitating influencer campaigns for brands and marketing agencies. It connects them with engaged nano-influencers (10k subscribers and under) who create authentic content. Users quickly find the right influencers and can share their results with stakeholders in real time.
  • Mega Labs : Mega Labs offers software applied to music industry professionals, integrating advanced automation to optimize the efficiency of different stakeholders throughout the production chain.
  • Playball Archives : Playball Archives offers an eco-responsible image bank service, integrating AI functionalities to index, search and generate new content.
  • Wallrus Creative Technologies: Wallrus Creative Technologies creates memorable experiences by combining technological innovations and mobile devices to engage audiences on site and online. Thanks to data management and analysis solutions, these experiences adapt to user behavior for continuous optimization.
  • Yiqqi : Yiqqi is a platform that enables organizations to rapidly launch video campaigns by integrating content from their communities in an ethical and secure way. Users can generate customized videos to amplify the reach of their message.

These dynamic presentations generated numerous questions and discussions, leading to enriching exchanges between participants.

Collaboration for innovation

This networking activity reflects Zú and ADISQ’s commitment to supporting innovation in the cultural sector. By building bridges between the technology and music industries, these initiatives are helping to shape a future where creativity and technology intertwine to push back the boundaries of the possible and accelerate the growth of local entrepreneurs.
