(IN)FUSION – Presented by La Banque Nationale
Lecturers
Johanne Pelleter, Director, Strategic Initiatives, Concordia University
In this series of workshops imagined by Zú and presented by the National Bank, we support entrepreneurs by addressing key concepts related to startup development, helping them structure their business project and ensure its growth.
As an entrepreneur, you will be invited to tell your story, explain your product or service, your corporate mission, and the problem you are solving on a regular basis to investors, team members, friends and family, and potential clients. Storytelling is one of the most important skills you can have in your toolkit because you’ll need to be able to capture the attention and be relatable to the eyes of your audience to convert them into investors, employees, partners or customers.
This (in)fusion workshop, led by Johanne Pelletier, a communications and storytelling expert at Concordia University, will give you the essentials you need to get started or improve your own pitch, including :
- What storytelling means in a business context
- Why storytelling is a key part of your communications toolkit
- Tips for creating your 2-minute pitch and small group exercise
