In this timely book, Alex Tapscott provides a cutting-edge guide to the Internet’s next era; revealing the technologies and concepts that will lead to the biggest shake-up of business, culture, and society.

 

Alex Tapscott is a globally recognized entrepreneur, author, and speaker known for his deep understanding of financial markets and expertise in the impact of emerging technologies, such as blockchain and cryptocurrencies, on businesses, government, and society. He is also the co-author of the critically acclaimed best seller, “Blockchain Revolution”.

 

But that’s not all – In the morning, you will also get the chance to attend a conference and a discussion panel, led by the industry expert Catherine Mathys, in which we will explore upcoming technological trends and opportunities, and challenges they represent.

Dive into the emerging technology trends that are shaping the future of startups. In this conference hosted by Catherine Mathys of Société des demains, we’ll explore the challenges and opportunities that these possible futures present for standing out on the world stage.

Panel discussion : How technologies from the creative industries can impact other sectors.

Adjacent innovation or “cross-pollination” considers that the most impactful ideas are transferable from one economic field to another. Let’s see how technologies developed in the creative industries can be applied to other industries.

The panelists are:

Sandra Rodriguez, PhD, creativve director and sociologist of new media technologies whose groundbreaking work in VR, XR, and AI, as well as her teaching at MIT, have won numerous awards, making her a pioneer in the field of immersive creation and the exploration of interactions between artificial intelligence and human creativity.

Brian McWilliams, who got his start in game development at Ubisoft, worked on Rainbow Six Siege, specializing in gameplay and AI. He is now CEO of Wild Blueberry Games, where he leads the implementation of AI for generative art and the use of Language Models for game localization, merging cutting-edge technology with the creativity of game development.

Martin Lemay, full professor in the Department of Physical Activity Sciences at UQAM and regular researcher at the CHU Sainte-Justine research center. His research focuses on the use of virtual reality and serious games in pediatric rehabilitation. He is also interested in the effects of dance on young people with motor disabilities.

Anthoine Dufour, expert in stimulating innovation, research and development, and incubation at CAE, to foster aerial urban mobility, industrial metaverses and improved cognitive processes, he has worked in various fields including aerospace simulation and serious games, data science and artificial intelligence, digital product strategy and development, and advanced technologies.
