Montréal, September 10, 2024 – Zú is proud to announce the arrival of Pascale Nini, recently appointed CEO of DistriQ – Sherbrooke’s Quantum Innovation Zone – as a new member of its Board of Directors.

She joins one of Quebec’s leading boards of directors to support Zú as a world-class technology incubator-accelerator dedicated to entertainment, sport and hospitality.

Pascale will sit alongside Marie-Chantal Chassé (Impact Coach-Consultant | Founder, MC2 Vision | Former Minister of the Environment and the Fight against Climate Change), Christiane Germain (Co-President, Germain Hotels), Dimitri Gourdin (President and CEO, Zú), Benoit Lacoste-Bienvenue (Managing Partner, Province of Quebec, Partner in International Tax/Mergers and Acquisitions, KPMG), Fabien Lanteri-Massa (Partner, Blakes), Brigitte Leblanc, (Executive Vice-President, Specialty Groups Canada, National Bank of Canada), Erandi Motte Cortés (Senior Director, International Markets, Entrepreneurship and Business Information, Chamber of Commerce of the Metropolitan Montreal), Isabelle Richard (Chief Legal Officer, Fondation Guy Laliberté).

Originally from Biarritz, France, Pascale Nini holds a degree in mathematics and a master’s in psychology. After starting her career as a psychologist, she quickly moved into entrepreneurship when she set up her first home theatre technology company in France. She then became the first investor in Immervision, a panoramic imaging technology capable of creating 360-degree vision.

In 2003, Pascale relocated Immervision to Montreal, along with her team of key engineers. As CEO, she positioned Immervision as a world leader in intelligent vision for devices in sectors such as mobile telephony, automotive, robotics, aerospace, IoT and security.
In early 2024, Pascale became Executive Chairman of Immervision. She also sits on a number of boards, including the Conseil du Patronat du Québec (CPQ), La Table Ronde, Qmed (a US company) and MedMira (a public company based in Halifax, Canada), where she shares her extensive expertise.
