Montreal, June 25, 2024 – Zú, an incubator-accelerator and expert in supporting technological projects in the creative industries, is proud to join forces with SODEC, the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles, to create a unique program: Accélération SODEC. This initiative aims to support Quebec-based cultural businesses in the development of technological solutions to consolidate and increase their revenues through the commercialization of newly developed technology.

In the fall of 2024, the Accélération SODEC program will offer a dozen Quebec-based cultural companies working in SODEC’s fields of intervention ten weeks of coaching, centered on Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodologies, to transform start-up projects into viable commercial offerings, and potentially even into business units within these companies.

The SODEC Acceleration program aims to validate the feasibility of commercializing a technological solution, whether in terms of product, market or business model, then to refine the value proposition and finally develop an intellectual property registration plan. Each company selected will draw up an action plan, which will serve as a solid foundation for accelerating its market launch.

Companies targeted by this program are those developing innovative technology in the audiovisual, book, publishing, craft, art market, music, entertainment and digital sectors.

Applications are now open and can be submitted until August 29, 2024.
